Man I suck at cash tables!

Well the last time I posted I was over $900 most from tourney wins. Well I was unable to cash out cuz I allready cashed out the day before. Apparently I had to wait 48 hours. In the meantime I got drunk and decided to play cash tables. That was a retarded idea and I eventually lost like $600 and was very very upset with myself for that. Well I waited a month or so and eventually even got my own bank account so I was able to put $20 on to my own account. From that $20 I actually made it to over $450. I was playing a $1 rebuy multitable and a $2 multitable making it heads up in both at the same time finishing 1st and 2nd. I cashed out $150 and paid for my cable bill with that. Then again I played some cash tables having some terrible beats with some 2 outers from a few players. Ended up losing $150 Here is the pics of my tourney finishs.

So I finally got 1st place! it was in a $3.30 rebuy tourney. First place netted me $555 bringing my week total to $970. I cashed out $200 yesterday and probally will cash out more today.

Another day another dollar

Well got 5th int a $8.80 500 ppl max tourney for $224. Wish I got first as it was $700 plus. Anyway so far im at $426 from my $20 deposit gonna cash out $200 so theres no chance I can lose. Wish me luck all!

Well I was unable to make a deposit in my own account as I dont have a bank account. So I got my lovley girlfriend juanitta to make an account and deposit $20 That didnt pan out and I had to wait 48 hours to make another deposit. So I deposited $20 and I managed to make it to 3rd in a $1 rebuy tourney making $167 then next day I joined a $2 rebuy a $4 180 person sit and go and a $4.40 1000 max player multitable. I made the money in them all falling short getting to the final table in 2 of those tourneys by only a few players. Anyway my bankroll sits at $205 now! not bad from $40 Hopefully I can keep it up and possibly make a 1st place big money finish soon!

Well ended up finishing 20th out of 1877 for $6.66 So close to the final table and the big money! Well so far in my quest to make something out of nothing my bankroll is $7.93 Now the trick is to make some money off of that. Hate playing within my bankroll when my bankroll is so small! Wish me luck!

Can I make something from nothing?

Well I had no money left on pokerstars but I did have some points. I remember a blog by Chris "jesus" fergison where he wanted to make 10k out of nothing. So I said well if he can do it, so can I. Maybe not to 10k but atleast a few hundie. So I joined a points tourney and low and behold I won my way into a $8 tourney but on Stars you can unjoin and get the money for other tourneys. So I unjoined and played a few tourneys losing them. I went to bed with one buyin left for the next day. So today I joined a $1.10 tourney but unfortunatly so did 1877 other people. What the hell though its 300 for first place. Well currently there are only 131 players left and im in 12th with a really good stack 90k. So wish me luck guys and hopefully I can take this one down for a nice win and get something for nothing! As it is I have made $2 but id like to make the big money wish me luck!

Poker,poker and more Poker

Well Zack is out of town for a little wile so in the mean time I went to my moms to play online. So I settle in to play for a few hours. I join 2 x .25-.50 nl tables and a $8 180 max tourney and 2 x $4.5 180 max tourneys. I lose about $35- $45 on the cash tables no suprize. I lost the $8 and one of the $4.50 eventually taking 3rd in the other table. Won like $80 or around there not exactly sure. Anyway I started with $120 and left with $151 2 more places and it would have been a good cash out. Now today I came back over to play again. So far ive lost $70 on the cash tables most of it in a hand I had jqspades and the flop was qq10 he had 10s for the flopped boat and I lost $50 right there. As we speak ive also busted out of a $11 multitable as well as a $4.50 180 person tourney. Im still in another tourney right now the same as before the $4.50 one but not doing so well. Maybe its not my day and I should pack it in. Before I kill my whole bankroll!!

The Scoop ticket and more

Yesterday Zack was playing some tourneys. I was just sitting in the living room reading. He had played in the tourneys for over a hour or so. There were 3 tourneys he was playing in at the time. A $33 rebuy for a Scoop ticket worth 2k, a $50 buyin where first was worth 5k or so and last but not least a $11 rebuy tourney where first was worth about 3k. He decided to go to the casino to take the fish money there and asked if I could finish the tourneys for him. Naturally I said yes as I really didnt have any thing to do anyway. I played for several hours making money in all 3 tourneys. I got 27th in the $50 tourney won for $152, got 9th in the $11 rebuy for $267 and amazingly enough won the scoop ticket worth 2k. I know nobody reads but wtf im blogging anyway. So I recently broke up with my girlfriend, Zack, a friend of mine was kind enough to let me stay with him. Now Zack is an interesting guy he is probally just as into poker as i am if not more. I have not had a bankroll for a long time as i didnt have a internet connection or a computer so it didnt matter much. Anyway Zack decided that he would stake me not only online but at the casino as well. So here i go. When we first started playing tourneys together we managed to cash the first day for $1100 total or something like that. I however have lost all my sessions at the casino for atleast $500 probally more. In the mean time I still play online since i have not been back to the casino since. Witch brings me to my reason for blogging today. Zack was tired to he decided hed go to bed and just transfer me some money to play. I had like $25 on ther he gave another $25 so I had roughly $50 to start the night off I joined a $8 180 person turbo tourney a $4 180 person tourney and also a $4 multitable 2k guareented touney. I lost both the 180 tourneys and joined 2 more also losing them. I was waiting for a tourney to start and lost $20 on the cash tables with a floped set when some chootch hit his str8. So all i had left was my $4 tourney that had 740 ppl in it and .32 cents left. My session was not doing well at all. Low and behold I managed to get 4th out of 740 for a $222 win. $550 was first but hey ya cant win em all right. Heres some screen shots from the final table and the cashout structure. this is zak young reporting for the jamie poker blog. we are crushing on pokerstars today... just final tabled a $8 180 man turbo, which is note worthy because we havenèt put in much volume. we should have got first but the god damn min raisers fucked us over with their illogical chotch play. luckily we are crusing in a $4.4 2k guarantee.... 700 runners or so top ten last i checked.

Well so far the "year of Jamie" has had its ups and downs. After cashing out and spending all that money I won in march I got a full time job, so I have not played much. However I recently got layed off ( fuckin sucks) so I will have more time to play. I got my G.S.T cheuqe the other day and decided to put in $50 bucks. I played last night and played a $5 rebuy with 150 players. I got 12th and first was worth $ 500 and I had a good shot at making the final table but it was late and I made a mistake that I would never normally make. As a result I busted just before the final table. That happens to me alot because I like to go for first, so I push in tight situations on the bubble before the final table as others are nervous and fold incorrectly often. Anyway after playing for a wile yesterday I finished the day with $63 Today I started off by playing a $3 rebuy that I lost after 2 hours of play. Also a $5 , 30 person tourney that I busted in 7th (2 before money) because some chotch had aces! I also joined a $5 tourney with a 3k guarentee prize pool. 885 joined and as I write this there is 275 players with me being in 27th with a abouve average chip stack of about 10k. Wile I was playing those tourneys I was also in a 5-1- cent cash table and I left at $17 after buying in for $10 So as I play this tourney my bankroll is at $40 not to good but only ten bucks from my inital buy in. I just got to keep playing tight and hopefully placing in the money or possibly first place here wish me luck I need the money I got no job!

The Year Of Jamie!

Well I have not blogged in a long time and I honestly wish I had of. Alot has happened.... Lets start of with whats new with me. I got a new job soon........... Enough about me......

To start off the year I got $15 free from Titan poker. I joined a $3 tourney with a few hundred people in it and I got first place. I won like $240. A week later I was playing a $10 tourney with 1100 people and guess what I WON FIRST PLACE FOR A TOTAL OF $3200 AMERICAN! Well now I had a bankroll to play with so I played the 2-4 and the 1-2 nl tables for a bit and did well. Now I did however have a problem......... In order to cash out I had to change my address, and in order to change my address I needed to have I.D to prove who I was. Now for most people that would not be a problem, however I am not most people. I have not had I.D for several years now...... Lucky for me I have a wonderful girlfriend who is not only beautiful but smart too, she booked me a appointment to get I.D. All the wile I had all this money online and it eventually led to GAMBLING DO NOT GAMBLE............. Now you may say "but Jamie poker is gambling" and I agree. When I talk about gambling I talk about roulette and slots and that sort of thing. Needless to say at my peek I was at $6000 American and I lost like 2k gambling on those dumb games. I did however manage to cash out $4000 Canadian or the time $3200 American. I left myself with $1000 bankroll. I donkeyd it away playing roulette and slots. Never ever ever do that ever. Another Day Another Dollar $$$

Well today after I woke up I had $145 to start the day, this after cashing out $260 the day before. Right before I went to sleep I drooped like $50 bucks so I felt kind of stupid for that. I was a little drunk (5 tall boyz) and played outside my bankroll for a bit, never good. I was determined to get that money back. Though out the day I played a few multi table tourneys but could not get anything going. I played a few cash tables and was up a bit I believe but I may be wrong, at the very least I was even. The money I made today came purely from sit and goes. I joined and won a $10, thirty person tourney for $120 and also won a $10, ten person tourney as well. I currently have $247 in my bankroll making my daily profit $102. In the morning I plan on cashing out another $100, bringing my total to $350 in cashouts. That off course will still leave me with $147 for my bankroll. This all comes from the $40 deposit I made 2 weeks ago. Here are some pics from the tourneys I won.

Also when I started playing on c.d poker my sit and go stats were horrible. This was due to losing the first few I played. Once you start like that its difficult to come back, but I'm proud to say I did just that. I have enclosed my chart for my sit and go play as of the date notice the huge upswing.

Well from the last post you can see im playing on cd poker (they gave free money) anyway I deposited $40 bucks and thats how I won in the last post. In this post I will talk about the $5 dollar rebuy tourney I joined. It was actually $2900 for first. I busted 8th making me $260 or something, but what I hate is that with a little luck I would have won first in both and be like 5k richer. Instead im cashing out $210, not bad cuz i leave $200 behind and I only deposited $40.

I wtite this with a heavy hand..... I busted in 11th. One before the final table. Buddy raised allin on the sb and I was on the bb with 8s. I had to call. He had k4 offsuit. I had him crushed 3-1. Flop was kqq I LOSE AGAIN TO A HORRIBLE BAD BEAT!

Passing the time

Well today when I woke up I had slightly less then I had started with the day before. As a result I had to stick to small buy in tourneys. I only had $35 but there was this really juicy $5 tourney with a huge prize pool. So I joined it, but so did 1440 other players. As I write this blog there are 42 players left im in 17th. First prize is $1500 so wish me luck. I will keep you all posted. WOOOO I jsut doubled up and now im in 5th position with over 100k!

A month later....

Well Hi everybody. Its been a full month since my last blog and thats mostly because I have really not played much. I decided to put $40 bucks online tonight though and figured id blog about it. I came home from work at about 1:30 am and decided to join the $2 rebuy tourney that was about to start in ten minutes. The tourney started off amazing and I had about 7k after like 15 mins into it. After the first hour I had managed to bring it up to about 9k, so I did the add on bringing me up to 11k to start the second hour. About 10 mins into the second hour I get deuces and I limp as well as another person, The guy in the cut off position raises it to 1200. I call and so does buddy. flop is queen,trey,DEUCE! amazingly enough buddy goes allin and the cut off raises!. They flip over queen jack, and kings. Im huge the only way to lose is a king. The pot is a moster for almost 40k THE RIVER IS A KING AND I LOSE THE TOURNEY!

We need to get back to basics!

Man I had an Epiphany, I need to get back to basics and before that always meant tghting up on my nl hold em game. Well folds I don't know why I have neglected my roots for SO long, and by my roots I mean FIXED LIMIT HOLDEM. Now that think about it, it was always there right in front of my face, like a overweight prostitute in a brothel that charges $500 a pop!

So What I have done is switching my whole play holy to fixed limit, why because for many reasons.

The problem being when I had this bright idea I was really drunk, so I will not be able to come up with the many reasons I had previously stated in the last paragraph.

So I will report about that shit later as of now I will put it to test with my 2 dollar bankroll!!
